Has a wonderful spicy orange aroma! Adds a zesty flare when used fresh or dried in soups, sauces, stews on roasts, fish and vegetables! Plant in sandy, well drained soil in full sun. Has a compact growth habit with small leaves that looks great in a garden bed, along pathways or in rock gardens, producing wonderful pink flowers. Thyme is typically low maintenance, but will need to be pruned to encourage a bushy growth. Sensitive to over watering, as thyme is susceptible to fungal diseases and root rot. Harvest in the morning, as concentrations of aromatic oils are highest at this time. Height 25cm.
