Most medicinally active variety! Stems produce delicate fern like foliage and clusters of small white flowers. It can be used topically to stop bleeding and additional antimicrobial properties once made yarrow an effective poultice for wounds and other skin conditions by the Native Americans. Also known to ease digestive complaints as an antispasmodic, control fever by inducing a sweat, control blood pressure, as well as its application as a diuretic, bitter and overall anti inflammatory remedy. Can be concentrated into a tincture and used to control blood pressure, infused in a bath or oil or infusion to soothe skin or a tea to help control infections. Very hardy and easy to grow, as it does not require much maintenance and can grow almost anywhere. Thrives in full sun and well drained soil. Tolerant to drought and poor soils. Ht. 2 feet.
