Germination can be enhanced by exposing seedflat to 24-27°C for 1 week and then lower to 18°C for germination. Where rosemary is not hardy growers dig up plants and overwinter in cool greenhouses. Named cultivars must be grown from cuttings; seed only available for standard species.
