I have a mixed breed 6lb 6oz puppy a year and a half of age. How do I lower her alkaline phosphotase levels so that she can be spayed? The vet will not spay because they are unsure of how my puppy will react to the anesthesia. She also has seizures.
Given your dog has high alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels and she has a history of seizures, there may be much more going on with the health of your dog than your email describes. Until her seizures and liver enzyme levels (of which ALP is one) are under control, she should not go under anaesthetic. I would suggest that you seek a qualified practitioner who has experience with both animals and herbs in your area so your dog can have the care and attention she deserves. Such a practitioner will also, I suspect suggest dietary changes as well as make supplement recommendations.
