My husband and I are growing approximately 100,000 plants of Echinacea angustifolia which are ready to harvest this year. We sold 10,000 plants last year and our test results of these roots were as follows: Caftaric Acid <0.03 / Chlorogenic Acid 0.334% / Cynarin 0.471% / Echinacoside 2.053% / Cichoric Acid <0.03 / Total Echinacosides 2.858% The roots were tested by Dr. Mohyuddin Mirza, Alberta Agriculture Food and Rural Development and we have a copy of this if you need it. We plan to have them test this years roots as well.

We are looking for buyers of these roots this fall. Do you know where we can find someone interested in these high quality roots? Please advise us if you can.

As it happens, I have a buyer right now looking for about 700 lbs. of fresh E. angustifolia. This wants to include the root, herbaceous part of the plant, and flowering heads (if any). We do this all the time from Canada, so we understand the necessary paperwork.

Price wants to be somewhere around US$7.00/lb., FOB. If you are interested, please contact me immediately. I need a sample, and pictures of your field. You did not mention this, but it also must be COG [Certified Organic].
