I was wondering if anise and chamomile can be mixed together in a tea.

Certainly. There are no adverse effects that we know of of combining the two in a tea blend. It is only a matter of taste as to whether the two would be a success brewed together in a tea. It may have to experiment a little to find the most pleasing proportions for each.
