I live in Prince Edward Island by the sea and would like to know if this would grow here. Do I need to plant the seeds in a wet area or will they grow well in the garden?

Barba di Cappuccino is a Mediterranean plant, so you would need a cool greenhouse for it to overwinter. You can also treat it as an annual plant and start the seeds indoors in early spring. It does best in a starting mixture of 4 parts peat moss and one part sand. Plant the seedlings in a sheltered place in full sun. If you want to see if it overwinter on Prince Edward Island protect it from winter moisture and mulch well.
