Can valerian in the urine be mistaken for "diazapine-type" drug? What is the recommended dosage for valerian for help in sleeping?

I don’t know whether valerian would produce a similar urine test result as benzodiazepines. It’s not likely, because there is no chemical similarity.

To promote sleep, the adult dosage of valerian tincture is one half to one teaspoon one hour before bedtime, repeating the dose just as you get into bed.
