What herbs are safe for a lactating woman to take for high blood pressure?

Herbs that help to lower blood pressure and herbalists consider safe for use in lactation are:

Hawthorn berries (crataegus oxyacanthoides) - support the heart and improve circulation

Linden blossom (Tilia cordata or Tilia europa) - relaxing, digestive

Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus) - relaxing

Chamomile flower (Matricaria recutita) - calming, digestive

Valerian officinalis - relaxing, sedative

Oats - nourishes the nervous system

Note that relaxing the lactating mother will likely relax the baby as well.
