I have a lot of allergies, do I need to use precaution with herbs because of these allergies, especially to all kinds of weeds, grasses, molds, pollens.

Care should be taken in using herbs that cause your allergies and those in the same plant family. There are warnings, for example, in using Chamomile to treat allergies, because it is in the same plant family as ragweed, which causes hay fever. Usually, though, Chamomile is helpful in relieving inflammation even in hay fever. If you notice an adverse reaction to a herb, then stop taking it.

Herbs are used to strengthen and protect against allergies. For more information, please go to our website at http://www.richters.com, select the Q&A area, then choose "Search Richters Q and A" and enter "allerg" for the search.
