Could you help me and define fibers? What if a doctor recommended my mother-in-law to take fiber, what should she take? She doesn’t eat very much but she will do what the doctor said.

Source of dietary fibre include raw vegetables and fruit, bran, whole cereals and whole-grain bread. Fibre is not digested easily and creates bulk in the gut which is thought to help promote regularity and reduce the risk of intestinal cancer.
