At this time I am starting to use licorice root, dong quai, black cohosh and the regular other supplements. Is it ok to take all these at the same time?

If you are asking whether there are any harmful interactions among the herbs you are taking, there are none that we are aware of at this time. But herbal interactions are not very well documented and mixing and matching herbs willy-nilly could be risky without professional advice. Without knowing about you and your condition it is impossible to say whether there should be any concern about taking these herbs regularly. These herbs have potent effects and there are potential risks depending on your medical history. For example, if you are a woman and are pregnant, dong quai and black cohosh can have negative effects.

You should seek professional advice from a trained herbalist or naturopath.
