Please tell me what you know about quercitin for the treatment of colitis. Thank you!

The bioflavonoid quercitin is used in treatment of colitis for its anti- inflammatory, immune boosting and blood vessel strengthening activities. Flavonoids neutralize free radicals that damage to intestinal tissue. Quercitin is safe in the recommended dosages, and without side effects.
