I am trying to find out what benefits drinking liquid aloe has for the body and does it help with skin elasticity?

Aloe vera has been used medicinally for thousands of years in cultures around the world. The juice, taken internally, helps to eliminate toxic material from the body. Its soothing and antibiotic properties make it useful in healing ulcers. It is also useful in relieving the symptoms of allergies like hay fever.

Aloe should be taken internally only for short periods of time, to assist in healing a specific problem. Because it is a laxative, it is harmful to the body in long term use.

Aloe is usually used externally for skin health and healing. I do not know that it is useful internally for this purpose. Horsetail, which contains silica, is used specifically to preserve and promote skin elasticity. Because of its high mineral content, horsetail should be taken internally for no longer than a month at a time, to avoid kidney problems.
