I was wondering if you have the essential oil. Or maybe you can tell me how I can use ground ivy oil as a skin application to aid in cellulite. I heard it’s excellent for that purpose.

I do not know how effective ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea) is for cellulite. [No evidence that the herb is useful for reducing cellulite was found in any traditional herbals or modern research databases. -Ed.]

Typically, ground ivy oil is used as follows: you can mix 6 drops of the essential oil in 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil or almond oil, and rub into the affected body parts.

For information on herbs for cellulite, please see our website www.richters.com . Choose Q&A from the main menu, then enter "cellulit" for the search.

Sorry, we do not have the ground ivy essential oil.
