Please tell me what germander is used for and how.

Germander (Teucrium chamaedrys) is considered to be an anti-diarrhoea, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and anti-spasmodic herb. It has been used in diarrhoea, irritable bowel and other digestive issues such as poor appetite and indigestion, as well as inflammatory conditions such as rheumatism and gout. It has also been used for weight loss. However, this herb has been associated with liver disease and as a result its safety is not clearly established and is no longer recommended for internal use.
