I am 30 years old and suffering from diabetes. My diabetes in fasting is 188mg and random is 260mg. One of my friends has recommended the use of Indian Rennet (Paneer Booty) to cure this disease. He told me to put 11-12 Indian rennet in a glass of water for 24 hrs and drink in the morning before eating any thing. You are therefore requested to please guide me, if it will be useful or not. Else is there any harm to use this treatment. You guidance will be really helpful for me.

I am not too familiar with Indian rennet (Withania coagulans) but the following link will give you some information:

However, ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) has a long history of use as a tonic herb and for its adaptogenic properties (helps the body cope with stress). In these ways, ashwaganda is an excellent herb for type 2 diabetes in conjunction with appropriate dietary changes. Traditionally ashwaganda has been used by taking a teaspoon of the powdered plant in a glass of warm milk and drank down.
