Periwinkle Seed

I am wondering if you have seed for Periwinkle and if it grows well from seed planted in a large area or if it has to be started in pots. I am talking quite a large shaded area.

There are different types of periwinkle, some that can be grown from seeds and others that cannot. The one you want, Vinca minor, that grows as a ground cover in shade, cannot be grown from seeds. The only inexpensive alternative for you is plug trays where you get 120 plugs per tray.

You can contact Deb Yakeley of our plugs department on availability. Likely we have have to custom grow this item for you, for delivery next spring.
