Are White Clover and Richter’s Dragon Clover one and the same? Both are referred to as "Trifolium repens" (not so sure about the spelling). We are planning to seed it into our lawn.

Although ‘Dragon’s Blood’ clover is the same species as white clover it looks and grows different. The variety we sell, ‘Dragon’s Blood’ is not grown from seeds; it can only be propagated by division or cuttings. It is a beautiful addition to the garden as a low ground cover because of its white- and red-splashed leaves. But for what you plan, to seed into your lawn, you are better off getting the true white clover. If you have trouble finding seeds, we can acquire some for you; contact Richters customer service if you are interested.
